Attendees of Green Living Show experience first hand the beauty and power of PeapodLife’s Advanced Human Habitat
A little over 10 days ago, the 2013 Green Living Show was held at the Direct Energy Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. PeapodLife was there, sharing a booth with Young Urban Farmers.

PeapodLife showcased one of its self-contained ecosystems, a customized “Angolo” unit (one with a light but not the full canopy enclosure) which allowed visitors to the booth to get up close and personal with the ecosystem.

Visitors were taken by the beauty of the living wall ecosystem, including varieties of orchids, bromeliads, and moss. Standing next to it, they could also feel the fresh air bellowing off of it. No easy feat for a relatively small ecosystem, considering the enormous space of the Direct Energy Centre.
Under normal circumstances—in a home, condo, small office or retail space, an Angolo ecosystem would filter impurities from the atmosphere and eventually fill the entire space with fresh, clean air.

We were happy to share a booth with Young Urban Farmers, and are looking forward to seeing how the efforts of our non-profit research partners focused on ecosystem-based organic food and pure water production will dovetail with Toronto’s urban cultivation movement.
Together, we will show the world that there is a viable alternative to the industrial agri-business monolith.
